It sounds like the perfect job doesn’t it? Writing your thoughts in a blog and somehow getting rich because of it – what a life. Of course, most of the stories you hear of people getting rich blogging are about those few whose blog has become hugely popular, enabling them to make a fortune. It is fair to say that these are the exceptions and that for each success story there are millions more blogs that are seen by very few people and from which the authors get hardly any income.
However, the way to make money from blogs is not to just start blogging and hope you are one of the few who get fantastically lucky. You may as well just buy a lottery ticket. The process is not magical or mysterious and you can take a tried and tested and logical approach to it, which will guarantee you a decent income in time. Blogs make money because visitors click on adverts or follow affiliate recommendations. That is where the money comes from, so the only way to get that money is to have lots of visitors to your blog, and your income increases in proportion with the number of visitors you have. If you have visitors, you will get money – simple as that.
Which leads us onto the question of how you actually get those visitors. You can’t just write about what you want and hope visitors will find your blog – they are not likely to find it unless you get very lucky. If you want to be guaranteed visitors, you need to choose the right subject for your blog, and optimize it for search engines. The visitors you need to attract to your blog are from search engines, because these are free and plentiful. The choice of subject for your blog is absolutely crucial, because you must find a niche that is of interest to enough people, without being in competition with lots of other websites and blogs. Only if you do this can you hope to achieve high enough ranking in the search engine results to get lots of visitors. Proper research is therefore essential.
Even if you choose the right topic, that will not be enough in itself to get visitors. You need to create and promote your blog in such a way as to make sure the search engines rate it as an important and useful site. This is called search engine optimization and among other things involves selecting the right key phrases for your posts and getting other sites to link to your blog. Backlinks from other sites are seen by search engines as an indication of quality and importance.
Let’s suppose you get all this right, choose the right niche, select the best keywords and get links back to your blog so that it shows up in search engine results and gets a steady stream of visitors. Well done, because that is quite an achievement in itself, but it is unlikely to earn you more than a few dollars a day. The only certain way to earn serious money from blogging, is to create lots of other blogs that meet the same criteria as the one we have just described. I mean ten, twenty or even a hundred blogs, all attracting different visitors and earning money every day. Then your income really is worth having.
The problem is the time it takes to create this number of blogs, or any kind of website. You can’t skimp on the proper research for the right niche and keywords, and neither can you skimp on good content or all the search engine optimization you need to do, so how can you possibly make enough blogs to earn serious cash? Not surprisingly you can’t, unless you employ some sort of tool or software, or combination of tools, to automate as much of the process as possible.
There are lots of tools available to do with generating and promoting blogs, but you need to be careful to avoid any which just enable you to churn out junk blogs full of second hand content and adverts. While claims of putting blogs up without having to write content may sound appealing, search engines hate duplicate content and such blogs will never rank well enough to get decent traffic. What you require is something that will guide you through all the stages you need to go through to create a quality blog, while automating as much of the process as possible.

All About Blogging
Not that long ago there was no such thing as a blog, and now we hear of people making small fortunes from them. Not surprisingly, many people do not understand how this is possible. No-one has to pay to read a blog, so how on earth can anyone make money by doing it? It is actually very simple when you understand the mechanics. The principles are the same whether in relation to a blog or an information website. Neither one needs to sell anything to make money.
Any blog or website can feature adverts on its pages and when anyone visiting your site clicks on one of these adverts you get some money. One of the easiest ways to do this is through Google Adsense, where you simply enter a bit of code onto your page, and Google do the rest. What happens is that Google automatically assess the content of each page, and serve adverts which are relevant to that topic. The benefit of this is that because the adverts are directly related to the subject your visitors are interested in, they are more likely to click on an advert.
The number of people who click on adverts will only ever be a small proportion of the total number of visitors. The rate at which people click on adverts compared to the total number of pages viewed is known as a ‘click through rate’. This varies a lot, but typically you might expect it to be between one and four percent. In other words, for every hundred pages looked at by visitors, you might get on average two or three clicks on adverts.
The amount of money you get from each click can vary enormously too, depending on the subject of your site. The amount you receive depends on how competitive the topic is for advertisers and how profitable that particular market is. Each click could earn you anything from less than a cent to several dollars. Usually you are only getting a few cents per click, so you can quickly see that it does not look like an easy way to get rich quickly. As the number of advert clicks will only ever be a small proportion of your total visitors, you are not going to make any serious money unless you have a serious number of visitors.
There is another part to the financial equation with regard to making money from blogs. In addition to advertiser income, the other possible source of income is from referrals of products sold on other websites. The way this works is that you find good products that you believe your visitors will be interested in and recommend them on your website. If your visitors follow the link from your site to the product site and make a purchase, you receive a commission on that sale. For this to work properly you need to be referring good quality products that you genuinely believe in, and which your visitors are actually looking for. If you get this right, and have enough traffic, the commissions can certainly be substantial.
You can now see that there is clearly an income to be made from blogging, but money from adverts and referrals will be tiny unless you have lots of traffic on your blog. A few individuals do manage to hit luck and get fantastically busy blogs, but realistically, that is not something the vast majority of us can do by design. If you understand the process, it is relatively easy to create a blog and get a reasonable supply of traffic, but that is never going to earn you a worthwhile income on its own. The way people manage to make serious money blogging, and this is the really important part of this article, is by creating lots of different blogs. Even if you only get a few dollars a day from each blog, that becomes a healthy income if you multiply it by a few dozen or more.
That leads onto how you manage to actually generate good quality blogs in the kind of number you need to in order to earn good money. If that sounds like a lot of work, it is, unless you use blog creation software, which is the only way to manage blogs on that kind of scale. What a good blog creation tool will do for you is automate as many aspects of the creation and promotion of blogs as possible. The work is just not physically possible without such a tool.
Take care not to opt for anything which only looks at the physical creation of blogs. Having a blog is not enough on its own – it has to have traffic. No blog or website will get traffic unless it is created in the right way and promoted properly for search engine ranking. Unless your blogs show up in search engine results, they will have no visitors, and therefore no income.

All About Blogging
Automated blogging is clearly something which is only of interest in terms of making money or creating an online business. Anyone who blogs for the fun of it would wonder what on earth the point of automating it could be, as this would take all the fun out of it. Whether that is true or not would depend on which aspects of blogging you were going to automate, but in general the purpose of automation is indeed about blogging in volume in order to create an income.
Let us start with a quick explanation of how blogs make money and why you would want to automate the process. A blog or any type of website that attracts visitors from search engines can generate income for you, the owner, through advertising. If the adverts on a site a relevant to the content which attracted the visitors, a certain number of them will click on adverts, for which you get paid. In general you will not get paid a lot, but if you get a lot of visitors, you will get a lot of income.
Instead of having one blog and trying to attract an incredible number of visitors to it, another alternative that is widely used is to create lots of blogs, each getting a modest number of visitors. So you get a small income from each blog, but the cumulative effect is a substantial income in total. The difficulty of course is in having the time to physically create and promote all those blogs, which is just not possible without a little help. That help comes in the form of tools or software which can automate part or all of the processes involved in blogging.
Needless to say there is a demand for such tools and this has been met with a huge range of options as far as blog creation tools go. I think it is important at this point to make some important distinctions about what we mean by automated blogging. The term suggests that the whole process can be automated, which it can, but a lot of blog automation results in blogs which have no useful content and which are just vehicles for adverts.
In case you do not understand why this matters, search engines such as Google hate crappy pointless sites, and can easily spot a blog that is made up of gibberish and adverts. It will not be rated by the search engines, so will not show up in search results and the blog will get no search engine traffic. No traffic equals no income, which is why it is a problem.
It is therefore important to check on the exact nature of any blog content which is to be automated. It is possible to access articles and other content freely and legally, but this must be done in a structured and meaningful way, geared specifically to your chosen niche and keywords.
There are an enormous number of blog creation tools out there and it is very easy to go wrong and waste money on systems that create lots of blogs that attract no visitors and earn you no income. The actual creation of a blog is only the start if your intention is to create an income. It must be created in the right way and then promoted, if it is to attract search engine traffic, so search engine optimization must be an integral part of your automated blogging tool. If you are not an experienced blogger, it would be prudent to select a system that offers support and advice, as clear fast answers when you have problems can make progress and results so much faster.

All About Blogging
It is very easy to use with a lot of code built in to the template making the more user friendly, especially for those of us not overladen with technical skills.
But this advantage could be a draw back with regards to some aspects of SEO. The problem being that when you publish a new post, the title page reads ‘name of blog then title of post’.
We all know that for the purposes of search engine optimization, the keywords should appear early in your title.
So how do you stop the blog name appearing in the title of every post.
How do you change the search engine listing of your blogger posts from the format indicated by the red arrow to the format indicated by the green arrow ?
It’s surprising how easy this is
- Log in to your blogger account and go to your layout page
- Click on edit HTML
- Back up your current template [there is a prompt to do this on your edit HTML page]
- Click on ‘expand widget templates’
- Look near the top of the html page and find this code
<title><data:blog.pagetitle/>
- Replace it with the code below
<b:if cond= ‘data:blog.pageType == "index"’><title><data:blog.title/></title><b:else/><title><data:blog.pageName/></title></b:if>
- Make sure that before editing the code you MUST back up your template
- Once you have finished save
It takes a few days for your changes to show in your blogs title in the search engine listings. The changes occur when the search engine bots have crawled and re-cached your posts
Here’s the code for those of you who want to copy and paste
<b:if cond= ‘data:blog.pageType == "index"’><title><data:blog.title/></title><b:else/><title><data:blog.pageName/></title></b:if>
Hope this helps.

There are actually a variety of ways that you can become a paid blogger. One way that you can get paid for blogging is to start up your own blog and then monetize it. While it will take a bit of work and time, you can start up a blog fairly easily, and you can do it on just about any topic that you are really interested in. Of course, you will want to make sure that there are plenty of people looking for the information that you will provide.
The only thing about blogging for yourself is that it does take a longer time to get it all started. You’ll spend time figuring out your niche, your topic, and getting your posts build up on the blog. Then you will have to send traffic to the blog to make some money. While in the end it can be very lucrative, it is not always the fastest way to make money by blogging.

All About Blogging
Just like all other things, even journals and diaries have evolved into something that can already be accessed online through the internet. Who would have thought that this kind of a personal thing can now be used to make money from home?
Blogging or online journals have become very popular as early as the late 90’s when people started having websites where they post things about themselves. Blogspot is one of the pioneers in providing online journal sites. This site gives a free username that can be used as their blog name and from there a blogger can tweak the way his site looks to make it more interesting.
With the growing trend of people wanting to work and make money from home, these blogging sites have found and devised ways to make their blogs profitable and make it into a full-time business. Most stay-at-home mothers nowadays create and use their blogs to write posts or entries that are being paid by advertisers who utilize sites such as PayU2Blog and PayPerPost to market their products. The availability of assignments (as these paid blogging topics are called) is based on the page rank of the blog. The higher the page rank of a blog is according to their Google rank, the higher the price these assignments are paid. There are even posts that can make you earn more than $100 if your site has high traffic and has a very high page rank.
A number of stay-at-home mothers have now realized the potential income they can actually gain from blogging. Aside from the fact that they can readily interact with people who share the same interests as they have, every click of an ad on their site and every hit their blog entries have is a way for them to make money from home. There are a lot of sites that they can sign up with that can help achieve their goal of reaching a higher page rank and more hits to generate more income. This possibility makes them a step closer toward their goal of achieving financial success in the comfort of their own homes.
Although most blogs generally speak of daily life’s happenings (as it is true in people who write on their diaries on a daily basis), one may need to write about a certain expertise or subject matter in order to make money from home more effectively. If you signed up for an ad placement service on your blog like Google AdSense, what it does is to place ads that are specific to your blog’s topics so you can target a more specific market. It is important for a blogger to have a specific target market when blogging for profit because this will drive accurate and targeted traffic to your site, attracting only those who are looking for serious business and not just the fly-by-night ones.
Blogging can be fun and profitable at the same time. It does not only enhance and improve your writing skills but will also introduce you to people who have the same interests and goals as you have. There are so many individuals out there looking for opportunities and this is a good way of meeting those who need your guidance in starting a business that will enable them to make money from home and be truly happy about it.

I am part of the FACEBOOK phenomenon, which is something I really didn’t think I would enjoy, but now that I have connected to so many Facebook Friends, it is so much fun. You get to converse with others about their feelings, what they are doing or going to do, mostly nothing, but it’s still fun!
Well, one of the Facebook Friends, wrote they they would never retire, because they loved their job, and that being retired was “boring”, “mundane” and “overrated”! Of course, I had to respond right away! How could someone exactly say that about being retired.
As I written before, somehow people feel that you will get bored if you wasn’t constantly doing something to make you feel good about yourself. It’s been one whole year since I retired and I still am not having those crazy feelings!
What I am doing now is volunteering my time for a city council candidate, in my city, and if they are voted in, I mentioned that I wouldn’t mind working, 2 or 3 days a week! But, the freedom comes from the fact that if I ever get tired of doing that, I don’t have too!
Retirement, so far, is not boring or mundane, and definitely isn’t overrated! Just ask my husband if he wants to continue to work (he’s a city bus driver). He is counting down the days to retirement. He has 7 1/2 years to go.
I think it’s wonderful that a person loves their job that they would never want to retire, and if I had a job like that, I might consider it……NOT!
I did the working part, now I like to enjoy the retirement part!

No matter how good your blog posts are they are literally useless unless people read them . And in order for people to read them , they need to make it to your blog . I mean , really make it there . It’s a struggle for them to find good content . And it’s a struggle for you to deliver and get them face to face with your good content .
And … to be honest … this isn’t about showing that you have the best possible car for sale . I’ve already addressed the topic of cloud blogging here . And , wether we like to admit it or not , cloud blogging is a fact . Chances are your content is just a variation of someone else’s ideas . But that’s not a bad thing . Baby steps . Nothing more than baby steps . That’s what evolution is . You take an idea and add a little something . Then someone else takes that idea and ads a little something else to it . And so on and so forth .
Picture a huuuuge parking lot with cars for sale . Every car is a blog . And every salesman is a blogger . Cloud blogging tells us that every car is a slight variation of another car from that parking lot .
And this is where the major rule of attracting visitors comes into play : ‘Don’t promote your blog , promote yourself’ .
This is what it should all be about . There is a very small chance that you are truly adding something brand new to the scene . Even this very blog that you are reading is , most likely , just a copy of someone else’s ideas . I just rearranged them and maybe added something new . That’s it .
Don’t try to reinvent the wheel . You will end up with a basket of frustrations and nothing more . Just use it .
This is what you are selling : yourself . It’s about the salesman that gets attention , not about his car ( surely , his car must be at least the same as everyone else’s ). The point is to get yourself in people’s face. Not in an aggressive manner , obviously . Just let them know that you know something about something . Make sure that after they talk to you they think to themselves : “I like him . He knows stuff .”.
Everyone tells you : promote your blog . Well , to be honest … I think it’s best to just promote yourself . It’s a whole lot easier to get people interested in you than in your blog . It’s easier to speak wisely and be funny and charismatic than it is to write original post after original post ( in fact – the ladder is basically impossible ) .
Ohh , and yeah … charisma is an integral part in your blogs success .
I have been blogging for almost 4 years now , although I’ve only recently entered the big market of international blogs with Life within a page , a blog about … blogging . Hope I have something to share and you will enjoy my articles .
